hello/dia duit/ hi/bonjour/hola ..........welcome to my blog

Welcome to the chronicle of Video Productions. From here I hope to share with you my passion for filming editing and digital media.
2012 will prove to be my most important and exciting year yet! In 2012 Video Productions had invested in cutting edge Canon DSLR cameras, a new merlin steady cam which gives a smooth movie like effect and finally the latest sennheiser audio equipment for the ceremony and speeches. This will all greatly enhance my services, giving all my clients a more crisp, clear, cinematic end product. My main aim is to be at the forefront of this fast moving digital industry by using the latest techniques and technology. "Once a new technology rolls over you, if you're not part of the steamroller, you're part of the road." Stewart Brand.
When filming a wedding my goal is to create breathtaking film that reflects the romance of the day. I feel privileged to be invited to share in this important event where I capture the lives and love stories of couples. Every moment spent behind the lens allows me create luminous, happy memories that will be cherished forever!
I would like to extend a warm invitation to you to join me on my journey...

Brian & Sandie Wedding Video Highlights
Wedding Video…. An Elegant Affair
Brian & Sandie, both from Dublin, couldn’t resist the allure of their wedding location at St. Thomas Callow, Foxford with the reception after in the impressive Mount Falcon Hotel, Ballina Co. Mayo. My favorite part of the highlights was at the end of day, a late night photoshoot with shadows cast against the stately Mount Falcon. As a wedding videographer I enjoyed this dramatic and different footage. This black tie affair was a class act all the way!
David & Aimee Wedding Video Highlights
Castle is where the home is... Wedding Video Highlights
David and Aimee's wedding took place in a delightful Church; St. Andrews of Malahide. Aimee’s family live directly across from Malahide Castle so we simply couldn’t let the day go by without getting a few shots for the wedding video at this amazing location. At the reception I was able to gather really natural footage of the couple around the fabulous gardens of Killashee house. “I just want to thank you so much. We received our Wedding DVD and it is amazing. You really put everything into it to capture the day perfectly. It re-told the story all over again, and even captured parts we never got to see, especially the video skype from my brother who couldn’t make it. It brought a tear to our eyes watching it together. My Dad was blown away by it, and he's a hard man to please when it comes to 'attention to detail' as he works in television productions. I just can't thank you enough for the huge effort that you put into it” Aimee & David
Declan & Grainne Wedding Video Highlights
A Champion Dancing Bride… Wedding Video Highlights
Declan & Grainne's wedding started out on blustery day in Sooey Church, Sligo and ended in the Diamond Coast Hotel with the roar of delighted guests, after an impressive display of Irish dancing from the bride herself! I have to commend this bride and groom for their determination to have a shoot on the local beach despite the wild windy day...Fair play! Declan and Grainne were very happy with their highlights, "We absolutely love it, I'm so happy, thank you so much" Grainne. Check out their wedding video
Andrew & Bernadette Wedding Video Highlights
I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree... Wedding Video Highlights
Andrew & Bernadette's wedding took place in the majestic Sligo Cathedral. I love covering wedding video’s here because the church simply glows in every direction. For the photoshoot we traveled to one of Sligo’s most breath taking spots; The Isle of Innisfree! On the day it wasn’t just the view that took out breath away, Bernadette shone with the islands as her backdrop. Then it was back to the ever efficient Sligo Park Hotel, where this popular young couple party the night away with their many, many guests. “We are delighted with the highlight clip” Bernadette
David & Emma Wedding Video Highlights
Pull me a Pint Love... Wedding Video Highlights
David & Emma decided that the small issue of distance wasn’t going to come in the way of their dream wedding! This Dublin couple headed west to the remote, rugged and beautiful Connemara. Their ceremony was held at the increasingly popular Tullycross Church with the reception after in Rosleague Manor Letterfrack (the food here is just amazing!) One tradition here is going to the pub after the ceremony, where the bride pulls the first pint for her new husband! How romantic, how fun, how Irish! As a wedding videographer I love this because it allows me to capture really natural footage of newly married couples laughing and smiling while they partake in this local tradition.
Fergal & Lorna Wedding Video Highlights
Streamers, Castles and Joy... Wedding Video Highlights
Fergal & Lorna’s wedding took place at the newly refurbished Church in Strandhill. The reception location was a bit of a drive away but when the venue is the famous Kilronan Castle, well it worth the extra drive! Fergal & Lorna were spoiled for choice around the castle, so many suitable spots for their shoot. I just loved when their nieces and nephews joined in the first dance with streamers and poppers. It really came out great on the wedding video, a moment filled with pure joy! Check it out below “Oh my God, I love it Ana!!! Thank you so much!” Lorna
Barry & Caroline Wedding Video Highlights
Love Under a Pink Umbrella... Wedding Video Highlights
Barry & Caroline's wedding took place at Caroline’s local Church in Ardagh, Co. Mayo with the reception after in the excellent Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone. It was easy to see how much this couple was looking forward to the day. Caroline was simple stunning on film; in fact the entire bridal party look like they were straight out a magazine. A very handsome bunch indeed! I particularly loved the moment when Barry shelters his new bride under a pink umbrella; because of the colouring here I was able to add a really amazing effect on the wedding video. Check it out below! “It is just what we hoped it would be. Thanks for everything” Caroline
Philip & Arlene Wedding Video Highlights
Twice as Nice with Twins.... Wedding Video Highlights
Philip & Arlene's wedding took place in The Holy Child Church, Whitehall with the reception after in The Crown Plaza, Northwood, Santry. It was clear to see how much everyone was looking forward to this day but Philip & Arlene’s twin girls were about to burst with excitement! Have a look at the vows in the highlights, the identical twins join in with their little prayer…heart = melt. I also got some really special footage at the botanical gardens in Dublin 9. What a great location, I would recommend it to any wedding videographer or photographer for wedding shoots in Dublin; it really has the wow factor!
